Actually, the text was already written. Its author is
Hs
. It’s one of those texts that you can’t pass up. I also had a sketch of what all the pages would be, although I always knew they would undergo changes. I made the sketch directly on the computer, I found it faster to work. It avoided scanning and assembling the pages and also allowed me to have a first idea of the spaces and times that the texts would have.
That’s when I started this blog. When it was time to face the image I could reach and what it would really cost me. It was also why I did it that way, giving up opinions. I was afraid that I wouldn’t know how to get there or that I would get lost. I had to push myself.
Only at the end, a few opinions from people close to me helped me iron out small details and even help me face one more turn of the screw.
Now I’ve come to something. I know what the original drawings are going to look like. Most will be India ink. The other part will be tempera. I also know the possibilities I’m going to have later to retouch them. That tweak will be at the end, along with the updating of the final texts.
It’s clear to me that the most important thing right now is drawing. The fit of each page and the passage to clean. And it will only be satisfactory from consistency. When the hand is independent again and flies over the paper on its own.
