Advance

We keep moving forward. No control. Improvising movements at every step. Every new site changes my perspective. It’s like climbing a mountain where the higher you are, the more you discover. Things that change previous ideas.
The truth is that the first part was already drawn. When the time came to attack the second one, I didn’t feel strong. I didn’t feel capable. So, I decided to train. I took up old ideas and tried to redo them with this new technique. That’s how I started. But I wasn’t convinced by the results. I redrew and redrew the same drawing. If I really think this line is worth it, I can’t be soft when it comes to judging. If you want to see what’s at the top, you have to keep going up. So, I came up with a correct drawing. And after him, others, until I took up an idea that I’ve been thinking about for years. It’s about a man climbing a ladder. The higher it goes, the more unstable it is. This drawing opened up a new perspective for me. He has created a world. Ideas, characters and symbols play by combining them with each other. If you change an item, change the result. The combinations grow exponentially. From where I am now, I can express many concepts. Ambiguous ideas that ask the reader to interpret.

Now, it’s time to tackle the second part. And I don’t have the strength, it makes me want to redo the first one. And it’s disheartening. Because it takes more time. And I’m very anxious.
