To the Air Book

Fresh from the meeting “Al aire libro” organized by Apiv.
Javier Sáez Castán and Pablo Auladell have been the drivers of the workshops.
The passion they exude for their work is striking, different passions,
but a level of commitment to his work, which surely seems like a starting point to get where they are with his images. It’s a respect, a care, a total rationalization.
I am left with the feeling of having attended a meeting of philosophy and reflection.
Applied to illustration, of course.
This makes and will make phrases and words that have not caught our immediate attention,
I’m sure there will be laws of action in the near future, I hope.
In short, bread with a loooong crumb.
And as if there wasn’t enough crumbs, as always in the workshops, the people, the people and the people.
It’s great to get to know these colleagues in the workshop, at the table and in the room.
It feels like when you look at the sea and realize how tiny you are.
It’s a very rewarding feeling, which makes you feel part, small, but part of something.
A boon for the home-self-employed.
I hang two sketches made in Pablo’s workshop on two fragments of
Chekhov’s “The Lady with the Little Dog” and Bram Stoker’s “Dracula’s Guest.”

Special mention for APIV. They always leave me speechless.
Becoming a member of APIV has been one of the great successes since I have lived in Valencia.
