The Double-Page Spread

I like the double-page spread. On a visual level, the bullet point is the equivalent of the word, the page is the sentence, and the double-page spread is the paragraph. The page turning is a full stop. A change of heart. Reading a page is reading a sentence. The impact of a double-page spread can’t be ignored. It’s the big picture. The two pages, even if we don’t want to, go together. We see them at the same time.
Each double-page end should finish off those exposed in them on the one hand and at the same time generate the interest to move on to the next while maintaining some uncertainty.
