The Surroundings

The stage is a set of elements that give information about a location in a scene.

If we represent the scenario, it is because there is important information for the understanding of the image.

You may or may not add that information. It's not always necessary.

You can be very descriptive or be more subtle.

If the scenario is defined too much, it absorbs the viewer's reading time. The more elaborate, the more information. This can lead to a point where the information from the scenario steps on or interferes with the main action

The variety of colors, the size of the shapes and the arrangement will compete for space to our main elements.

How many elements are needed to communicate that we are in a city? In a room? In a forest? Can a stage be used to reinforce sensations?
