It’s Already Started

The penultimate process has already begun. In fact, it takes several days. It’s harder than I thought. At some point you fall asleep and think it’s done when it hasn’t even started yet. That is not what was agreed. What has been agreed is now or never, not to miss this unique moment that may not be repeated.
I move forward now by mixing between materials. The experience of graphite, the beauty of watercolor, the reign of ink and its hypnotic duality, the aggressiveness of tempera and the rough definition of a knife that brings me back to white, to light and to the desire to live up to the text.
Behind me, the memory of the last of the visions. Totentanz by Dino Battaglia and its unreachable summit.
